Jon began his music career
in 1991 as a session keyboard player. Sessions eventually
led to writing and production work. Jon's musical background
lies in jazz and classical music and his approach to writing
and production is to incorporate the musicality and quality
of these styles into contemporary music without compromising
commerciality.

Since the mid nineties, Jon's songs
have sold on every continent and he has worked with many
artists including:-
Imagination, Phillip Bent, Code Red, E17, Steps, The Honeys,
A1, Emma Bunton, Triple8, Sugababes, Triple8 and Darius

In 2001 Jon was asked to produce
several tracks for the then unknown "Operababes" Their album Beyond Imagination went on to become one of
the biggest selling British Classical records of 2002
(Over 200,000 sold World wide) and Jon's arrangement of Un
Bel Di from Madam Butterfly was used as the ITV World
Cup 2002 music. |
Since that time Jon has become one
of the leading producers of "Classical Cross-over" music in the country. His most recent record in this area Moving On the debut album from Myleene Klass reached number
two in the classical charts in its first week and was nominated for the best album in the 2004 Classical Brits.

In 2004, Jon wrote and produced two tracks on the critically acclaimed Choreography album by Vanessa-Mae. Other producers on the album include Vangelis and AR Rahman.
Jon composed the score for the film Against Nature which premiered in the UK in June2005.
He has recently finished four tracks on the debut album for Amy Nuttall, a major signing to EMI Classics (including the lead track,” No Greater Gift” co-written with Dean Dyson) The album is due for release in November 2005.

Jon continues to work in the Classical
field but is concentrating on more mainstream projects
at the moment.
A regular writing partnership with Wayne Hector (Westlife, O-Town, Il Divo) has resulted in a number of US releases, most notably, titles currently being recorded by American Idol star, Bo Bice.
